to the classification criteria of NOHSC:1008(2004), Approved Criteria

The following risk and safety phrases apply to diethylcarbamazine
citrate (DECC), the active constituent in these
tablets. The percentage of DECC in the tablets is above the
concentration cut-off that would enable the product to be
considered as not hazardous.
Risk phrases:
R21/22:
Harmful in contact with skin and if swallowed.
R26:
Toxic by inhalation.
R36/37/38:
Irritating to eye, to respiratory system and skin.
Safety phrases:
S22:
Do not breathe dust.
S24/25:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
S26:
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water
and seek medical
advice.
S28:
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water.
