After milking and prior to Infusing CLAVET LC into each quarte r, clean and disinfect the teat wit h an approved teat disinfectant. Inse rt the nozzle into the teat canal and apply gentle an d continuous pressure on the plunger until all the suspension Is expressed. Wea r sanitised rubber gloves when app lying the infusion. Infuse one syringe of CLAVET LC into each quarter th en teat dip or spray the teat. The treated qua rt er / s should be milked out at t he next normal milking and milk withheld from the general co ll ect ion. For advi ce on feeding calves with milk taken during the wit hholding pe ri od contact your presc ri bing veterinarian. CLAVET LC is presented in syringes wi th a variable Up. This variable t ip allows for eith er full or partial insertion i nto the teat o ri fice. Partial insertion only is preferable, as It may prevent unnecessary damage to the teat or ifice. Full insertion will be needed fo r large teat orifices.
