The NIO Infant (NIO-I) is a manual, single-use intraosseous sterile device designed specifically for infants. Its innovative Stepped Needle® design provides haptic feedback – giving users complete control and helping to prevent over-penetration into the distal cortex. The NIO Infant is safe, intuitive, quick and easy to operate – ideal for emergency situations. The cannula features a 5mm marker line, located 5mm from the pink stabilizer base. Prior to insertion into the medullary space, the 5mm marker line should be visible to ensure adequate needle length.
