EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine has an anti-inflammatory effect on the airways, a long
bronchodilator effect by
a muscarinic receptor antagonist action and a beta 2 adrenergic
receptor stimulating action.
This will help to keep you free of attacks or to prevent symptoms.
It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma or Chronic Obstructive
Pulmonary Disease (chronic
bronchitis/pulmonary emphysema). It should not be used to relieve an
asthma attack or acute
exacerbation of symptom that has already begun.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have: infections or deep mycosis, angle-closure glaucoma,
difficulty in urination due to
prostate hypertrophy, etc., tuberculous disease, heart disease,
hyperthyroidism,
hypertension, diabetes mellitus, prostatic hypertrophy (except in the
presence of dysuria) or
liver dysfunction.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
