Urothelial carcinomaTecentriq as monotherapy is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (UC):- after prior platinum containing chemotherapy, or - who are considered cisplatin ineligible, and whose tumours have a PD-L1 expression ≥ 5% (see section 5. Non-small cell lung cancer Tecentriq, in combination with bevacizumab, paclitaxel and carboplatin, is indicated for the first-line treatment of adult patients with metastatic non-squamous non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In patients with EGFR mutant or ALK-positive NSCLC, Tecentriq, in combination with bevacizumab, paclitaxel and carboplatin, is indicated only after failure of appropriate targeted therapies (see section 5. Tecentriq, in combination with nab paclitaxel and carboplatin, is indicated for the first line treatment of adult patients with metastatic non-squamous NSCLC who do not have EGFR mutant or ALK positive NSCLC (see section 5. QUÉ ES TECENTRIQ Y PARA QUÉ SE UTILIZA QUÉ ES TECENTRIQ Tecentriq es un medicamento antitumoral que contiene la sustancia activa ‘atezolizumab’. • Es un tipo de proteína que pertenece al grupo de los llamados “anticuerpos monoclonales”. • Los anticuerpos monoclonales son un tipo de proteína diseñada para reconocer y unirse a una sustancia diana específica en el cuerpo. • Este anticuerpo puede ayudar a su sistema inmunitario a combatir su cáncer. PARA QUÉ SE UTILIZA TECENTRIQ Tecentriq se usa en adultos para tratar: • Un tipo de cáncer de vejiga, llamado carcinoma urotelial • Un tipo de cáncer de pulmón, llamado cáncer de pulmón no microcítico • Un tipo de cáncer de pulmón, llamado cáncer de pulmón microcítico • Un tipo de cáncer de pecho, llamado cáncer de mama triple negativo • Un tipo de cáncer de hígado, llamado cáncer hepatocelular Los pacientes pueden ser tratados con Tecentriq cuando sus cánceres han avanzado a otras partes del cuerpo o tras tratamiento previo. Tecentriq 1 200 mg concentrado para solución para perfusión. 2. COMPOSICIÓN CUALITATIVA Y CUANTITATIVA Tecentriq 840 mg concentrado para solución para perfusión Un vial de 14 ml de concentrado contiene 840 mg de atezolizumab* Tecentriq 1 200 mg concentrado para solución para perfusión Un vial de 20 ml de concentrado contiene 1 200 mg de atezolizumab* Tras diluir, la concentración final de la solución diluida debe estar entre 3,2 y 16,8 mg/ml (ver sección 6.6). * Atezolizumab es un anticuerpo monoclonal humanizado de la inmunoglobulina G1 (IgG1) Fc modificado mediante ingeniería genética, anti ligando del receptor de muerte programada 1 (anti PD- L1), producido en células de ovario de hámster chino por tecnología del ADN recombinante. DATOS CLÍNICOS 4.1 INDICACIONES TERAPÉUTICAS Carcinoma urotelial (CU) Tecentriq en monoterapia está indicado para el tratamiento de pacientes adultos con CU localmente avanzado o metastásico: • después de quimioterapia previa que contenga platino o • en los que no son considerados aptos para el tratamiento con cisplatino y cuyos tumores tengan una expresión de PDL1 > 5% (ver sección 5.1). Estadio temprano de cáncer de pulmón no microcítico (CPNM) Tecentriq en monoterapia esta indicado como tratamiento adyuvante tras resección completa y quimioterapia basada en platino para pacientes adultos con CPNM con alto riesgo de recidiva, cuyos tumores expresen PD-L1 ≥ 50% en células tumorales (CT) que no presentan mutaciones de EGFR o ALK positivo (ver sección 5.1 para los criterios de selección).
