EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine contains morphine as the active ingredient and various
alkaloids, and
suppresses central nervous system, resulting in analgesic, sedation
and respiratory
depression. It also suppresses intestinal peristalsis.It is usually
used to improve symptoms of
severe diarrhea, suppress intestinal peristalsis such as after
surgery, and for analgesic/
sedative/ anticonvulsant in severe pain, and antitussive in severe
cough attack.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have respiratory depression, bronchial asthma attack, liver
dysfunction, heart failure
secondary to chronic lung disease, convulsive state, acute alcoholism,
hemorrhagic colitis or
bacterial diarrhea.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
