Norian Reinforced is a calcium phosphate based bone void filler with the addition of polymer fibres and sodium hyaluronate. The reinforcing fibres increase the fracture toughness of the ceramic and make it possible to resist against cracking during setting. Norian Reinforced is a moldable bone cement with reinforcing fibres. It is intended to be used to repair or fill craniofacial defects and craniotomy cuts with a surface area no larger than 25 sq. cm. It is also intended to be used for the restoration or augmentation of bony contours of the craniofacial skeleton.
