Lozenges (mint, orange and honey-lemon flavors)

CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS
4.1.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Symptomatic treatment of respiratory tract diseases, associated with
cough and sore
throat.
4.2.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Dose for adults and children above 12 years
One lozenge every two - three hourly, slowly dissolve till complete
resorption.
Maximum daily dose is 8 lozenges.
4.3.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Contraindicated in children under 12 years, during pregnancy and
lactation
4.4. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND SPECIAL SAFETY MEASURES
Preparation contains sucrose so caution should be taken in diabetic
patients and patients
on low caloric diet.
4.5. DRUG AND OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTIONS: Concomitant use with other antitussive preparations (for example,
with codeine) and
preparations which decrease expectorations is not recommended.
4.6. PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
Contraindicated

4.8. SIDE EFFECTS:
Allergic reactions may occur.
4.9. OVER DOSAGE:
There were no reports of overdoses.
