FERATOX ® FOR THE CONTROL OF BENNETT’S WALLABIES DANGER Keep out of the reach of children. Read the label before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Contains Potassium Cyanide 475g/kg in the form of a pellet WARNING: the material inside these pellets is extremely dangerous if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. This material generates toxic hydrogen cyanide gas on contact with acids. Mild skin and eye irritant. Contact skin sensitizer. Suspected reproductive/development toxicant. Causes damage to organs. Very toxic to aquatic life, the soil environment, terrestrial vertebrates, and terrestrial invertebrates. PRECAUTIONS: store in the original container in a cold dry place away from foodstuffs and under lock and key. Carry overalls and gloves and use when disposing of damaged or expired pellets. Wash hands after use and before eating or smoking. Ensure the container is completely empty and bury remains. Avoid contamination of any waterways with pellets or used containers. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: to be under control of a Certified Handler holding a Controlled Substance License. Ensure that Feratox for Bennett’s Wallabies pellet container is opened in a well-ventilated area. FOR USE ON BENNETT’S WALLABIES: Feratox for Bennett’s Wallabies must only be dispensed with a bait feeder displaying the appropriate warnings. Bait stations, bait bags or strikers must be set at a minimum of 20 centimetres from the ground. Avoid getting the pellets wet or damp. Prefeed with non-toxic bait at a minimum of 20cm from the ground and prior to placement Feratox for Bennett’s Wallabies pellets. Avoid getting the pellets wet or damp. Place each pellet in 15 to 20 grammes of Ferafeed ensuring the Feratox for Bennett’s Wallabies pellet is covered by the feed. This may be sufficient to ensure the wallaby is confidently feeding on the bait crushing the pellet in the process.
