CEPHACIN 600
TABLETS
Each tablet contains:
600mg CEPHALEXIN (as monohydrate)
For the treatment of infection caused by cephalexin
sensitive organisms.
For the treatment of infections of both the upper
and lower urinary tract caused by susceptible
_Staphylococcus aureus, E coli, Proteus_ and
_Klebsiella_.
In the treatment of respiratory tract infections, skin
and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible
micro-organisms in dogs and cats.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
By oral administration 15mg/kg bodyweight 8 or 12
hourly until 48 hours after the clinical signs have
subsided. Genitourinary tract infections should be
treated for a minimum of 7 days.
FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor
or Poisons Information Centre. Phone New

STORAGE: Store below 30

Protect from light.
Close lid firmly after use _(100/300 Tablets pack _
_size only). _
DISPOSAL: Dispose of empty container by
wrapping with paper and putting in garbage
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea may occasionally
occur, allergic reactions may be observed but the
incidence is much less than seen with penicillin.
Penicillins and cephalosporins may cause
hypersensitivity following inhalation, ingestion or
skin contact. Individuals known to be allergic to
penicillins or cephalosporins should take great
care to avoid exposure.
