INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

DESCRIPTION
Bicarbon valves manufactured by CORCYM are bileaflet low-profile
prostheses
designed to replace damaged or malfunctioning aortic and mitral heart
valves.
They consist of two hinged leaflets within an annular housing. The
hinge geometry,
which determines the excursion and the leaflet opening angle, is
designed to
minimize wear and to allow continuous blood washing of the surfaces.
