Others. PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION Nasal decongestant. INDICATIONS For relief of congestive symptoms associated with sinusitis, head cold, nasal catarrh and nasal congestion. CONTRA-INDICATIONS Only when known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients exists. WARNINGS It is dangerous to apply Vicks VapoRub to the nostrils of infants as it may cause immediate collapse. DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE Colds: For congestion in nose and chest, sore throat, coughs, muscular tightness. Massage Vicks VapoRub vigorously on chest, throat and back. Then spread a thick layer on chest. Keep the body warm. Repeat at bedtime. Head Colds, Nasal Catarrh: Twice daily melt 2 medicine measuresful of Vicks VapoRub in very hot water and inhale the vapours. Never reheat the mixture, never heat while inhaling. For external use only. SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS Do not swallow or place in nostrils. Never reheat the mixture. Never heat while inhaling. Menthol and essential oils may give rise to hypersensitivity reactions including contact dermatitis.
