that has been freeze-dried in a protective buffer.  
USE:  As a vaccine to prevent Newcastle Disease in chickens. 
METHOD OF USE:  Administered via drinking water to chickens aged one week or older. The 
virus is intended to infect all chickens in the vaccinated flock, stimulating 
immune protection against wild NDV exposure. 

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION AND PROPERTIES 

APPEARANCE:  Pale  pink  pellet  of  freeze-dried  vaccine  in  a  clear  glass  vial.  The  white 
label  has  a  bright  red  strip.  The  closure  consists  of  a  silver  tear-off 
aluminium crimp over a grey rubber stopper. Approved vial sizes are of 3 
mL and 10 mL capacity. The 3 mL vial contains approximately 1.0-1.5 mL 
of vaccine, equivalent to: 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 or 5000 doses. The 10 
mL  vial  contains  approximately  3.0-4.0  mL  of
