If washing is required for heavily soiled udder or teats, ensure they are properly dried. Thoroughly spray or dip all teats after each milking. Mix fresh solutions daily. Do not top up solutions made up on the previous day. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION : AS A TEAT DIP : Mix one part of UDDER MATE EXTRA with eleven parts of cooled boiled dairy heater water ( less than 50 deg C ) and using a small non metal cup or container, dip each teat of each cow after milking. AS A TEAT SPRAY : Using a suitable pressure sprayer, make up 6 litres of the spray by mixing 500mL of UDDER MATE EXTRA to 5.5. litres of cooled boiled dairy heater water. After milking, thoroughly spray the udder area to ensure all over cover of cow’s teats. NOTE : Tasman Chemicals recommend using cooled “BOILED DAIRY HEATER WATER” when diluting teat sanitiser solutions. This will allow the teat sanitiser to operate at its greatest efficiency in the farms purest water source. The addition of emollients to the final solution which already contain an emollient ( up to 10% total emollient ) may affect the efficacy of the teat sanitiser.
