•As there
is
an
ever increasing number of different Couch grass varieties growing in
Australia and as there effectiveness of this product against all
varieties cannot therefore be
known as assured, it is recommended that a small test area be sprayed
with this product to
determine its effectiveness against your variety/varieties
on
Couch grass, before embarking
on
a large scale treatment. The effectiveness
on
golf course greens may vary with turf
management practices and environmental conditions.
EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATION
For large areas use fixed boom power sprayers. To prevent nozzle
blockage strainer and
nozzle screens should be 50 mesh
or
coarser. Continuous agitation is required
to
keep
product suspended. Use between 1 0-20L of water per 100 square metres.
For small areas use a tank-type hand sprayer; shake or stir
frequently. Usual
turf
herbicide
application equipment is also satisfactory.
At least 15mm
of
water must be provided by rainfall or irrigation within 3 days after
treatment.
RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING
Tupersan WP Turf Herbicide is a member of the Ureas group
of
herbicides. The product
has the inhibitor of photosynthesis at photosystem
II
