General Instructions:
Tough 600 EC Herbicide is a contact herbicide. Thorough coverage of
the plant foliage,
including the growing point, is necessary for maximum weed control.
Weeds must be young
and actively growing. Best weed control is obtained on small, newly
germinated weeds.
Although weeds may not all germinate at once, do not delay application
to catch later
germinations.
Best weed control is obtained when Tough 600 EC is sprayed under high
humidity
conditions.
Tough 600 EC should be used after a pre-emergence herbicide (simazine
or cyanazine)
for best results. Do not apply a grass specific herbicide within 14
days of an application of
Tough 600 EC due to Tough 600 EC antagonising the effect of grass
killers.
MIXING
Add the required quantity of Tough 600 EC to water in the spray tank
and mix thoroughly.
For boom sprays apply in a minimum of
5
0 L water per hectare.
Resistance Warning:
Tough 600 EC is a member of the phenyl-pyridazine group of herbicides
and acts by
inhibiting photosynthesis at photosystem II. For weed resistance
management Tough 600
EC is a Group C herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes
resistant to Tough 600
EC and other Group C herbicides may exist through normal genetic
variability in any weed
population. The resistant i
