WHAT POVIDONE IODINE
IS USED FOR
It is used for treatment of wounds, cuts,
abrasions and minor skin infections.
HOW POVIDONE IODINE WORKS
It contains povidone iodine which slowly
liberates inorganic iodine in contact with
the skin and mucous membranes.
BEFORE YOU USE POVIDONE IODINE

_When you must not use it_
Do not use it if you are allergic to
povidone iodine.
Application of povidone iodine to large
areas of broken skin should be avoided
as excessive absorption of iodine may
occur.
When redness or swelling occurs due to
hypersensitivity, stop application and
consult doctor.
