•  If you have further questions,  please ask your doctor or pharmacist.

•  This medicine has been prescribed  for you
personally and you should not 
pass  it on  to others. It may harm them, even if
their symptoms  are the 
same as yours.

•  The active ingredients are  antazoline
hydrochloride 0.5mg/ml  and 
tetryzoline hydrochloride 0.4mg/ml.

•  The other ingredients are benzalkonium
chloride,  dilute hydrochloric acid, 
hypromellose, sodium chloride, water for injections.

CLINICAL  PARTICULARS 

4.1  
THERAPEUTIC  INDICATIONS 

Allergic    and   inflammatory   conditions    of 
 the   conjunctiva,    in   particular    hay-fever, 
 spring 
conjunctivitis and reactions due to drug hypersensitivity, excessive secretion
of tears and stenosis of 
the tear duct. 

4.2  
POSOLOGY  AND  METHOD  OF  ADMINISTRATION 

In adults and children, apply 1 drop every three hours
during the acute phase and for maintenance 
therapy apply 1 drop 2-3 times per day. 1-2 drops are
sufficient for children. 

Spersallerg is not recommended for patients under the
age of 2 years. 

In severe
conditions, Spersallerg may be used every hour without side effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS 

•
 Hypersensitivity to any component contained in Spersallerg. 

•  Glaucoma caused by narrow angle glaucoma as well
as in case of dry eye syndrome. 

4.4  
SPECIAL  WARNINGS  AND  PRECAUTIONS  FOR  USE 

PRECAUTIONS 

Tetryzoline should be given with care in cases of
high hypertension or hyperglycaemia (diabetes), 
also in children under 2 years. The proprietary medicinal product should be used
with care in adults

with  serious  cardiovascular  disease  including  heart
 failure,  in  patients  with  poorly  controlled 
hypertension and diabetes, hyperthyroidism or
pheochromocytoma and eye infections. 

Other medications should be chosen in case of
chronic recurring allergies.
