Apply to bare soil (cleared of weeds and rubbish) in early spring 3 -
4 weeks before spear emergence. Use
the high rate if the disease was evident during the previous season.
About 10mm of rain or irrigation is
required to move the fungicide into the soil.

Downy mildew 6.5 ml Speartek plus 17 g
mancozeb (75%ai)/100 m2 of
seedbed.
Use adequate water to obtain
complete coverage.
Make a maximum of three applications commencing as soon as most
seedlings have emerged and repeat
every ten days until transplanting.
IMPORTANT: NO MORE THAN 3 APPLICATIONS OF SPEARTEK (OR ANY OTHER
PHENYLAMIDE
CONTAINING FUNGICIDE) SHOULD BE APPLIED TO A CROP. SPEARTEK ALSO MUST
BE USED IN
COMBINATION WITH MANCOZEB.
