General Instructions:
MIXING
SPADA 600 WG Herbicide must be added to the required amount of clean
water and
agitated thoroughly. DO NOT use equipment which has been used to apply
other pesticides
unless it has been thoroughly cleaned and flushed with detergent
solution and rinsed with
clean water before filling. The chemical works only by direct contact
to the foliage and early
spraying gives best results. Apply in warm weather (ideal temperature
is 25-26°C).
APPLICATION
DO NOT apply using spraying equipment carried on the back of the user.
SPADA may be applied by aircraft or boom. Apply with correctly
calibrated equipment and
ensure thorough and even coverage.
DO NOT apply SPADA when wind velocities are high enough to cause poor
plant coverage
or spray drift onto nearby susceptible crops. A slight cross wind
during spraying is desirable
to equalise distribution. Fields may be treated when grasses and weeds
are either dry

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING
SPADA WG Herbicide is a member of the Acetamide group
of herbicides. SPADA WG Herbicide has the inhibition of
photosynthesis at photosystem II mode of action. For weed
resistance management SPADA is a Group C Herbicide.
Some
naturally
occurring
weed
biotypes
resistant
to
SPADA WG Herbicide and other Group C Herbicides may
exist through normal genetic variability in weed population.
The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed
population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These
resistant weeds will not be controlled by SPADA or other
Group C Herbicides. Since occurrence of resistant weeds is
difficult to detect prior to use, UPL Australia Limited accepts
no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of
SPADA WG Herbicide to control resistant weeds.
