This product has not been tested in pregnant/and or lactating cattle. RLP APPROVED
Side Effects:
Nasal discharge and/or fever may be present in cattle for up to one
week after vaccination.
Dosage and
Administration:
Dose for each animal is 2 mL, delivered intranasally.
Dairy heifers should be vaccinated at least 2 weeks before first
mating or AI.
General Directions:
USE ALL PRODUCT within 8 hours of mixing
KEEP THE VACCINE SALINE PACK cool and out of direct sunlight.
1. Remove a frozen vial of vaccine from the freezer and thaw in warm
water.
2. Use a syringe and needle to transfer the vaccine from 1 vial to a
100 mL 0.9% saline
pillow pack. Invert the pack several times to mix.
3. The pack now contains 50 x 2 mL doses of vaccine.
4. The dose for each animal is 2 mL, delivered intranasally. The head
of the animal
should be elevated while the vaccine is delivered. Unless a
pressurised delivery system is
used, the vaccine should not be delivered as the animal exhales as
this may result in an
incomplete vaccine dose being delivered.
5. Only one dose is necessary, re-vaccination is not required.
6. This product has not been tested in breeding cattle.
7. Nasal discharge and/or fever may be present in cattle for up to one
week after
vaccination.
