_MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE_ J STRAIN INACTIVATED
INDICATIONS
For the active immunisation of pigs against PCV2 infection.
To reduce PCV2 associated viraemia, virus load in lungs, tonsils and
lymphoid tissues.
To reduce faecal and nasal virus shedding caused by porcine circovirus
type 2 (PCV2) infection,
and thereby minimise environmental contamination.
To aid in the prevention of enzootic pneumonia of swine caused by
_Mycoplasma _
_hyopneumoniae _demonstrated by:
-
Reduction in the severity of lung lesions caused by _Mycoplasma
hyopneumoniae_ infection;
and
-
Reduction of weight loss associated with infection with _Mycoplasma
hyopneumoniae_ in the
finishing period.
ONSET OF IMMUNITY WITH SINGLE DOSE VACCINATION
PCV2: 2 weeks after vaccination.
_Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae:_ 4 weeks after vaccination.
ONSET OF IMMUNITY WITH TWO-DOSE VACCINATION
PCV2: 18 days after first vaccination.
_Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae:_ 3 weeks after the second vaccination.
DURATION_ _OF IMMUNITY (BOTH VACCINATION SCHEDULES)
PCV2: 22 weeks after (the last) vaccination.
_Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae:_ 21 weeks after (the last) vaccination.
PORCILIS PCV M HYO is effective in the face of maternally derived
antibodies to PCV and/or
_Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae_.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE.
Use all product within 3 days of opening.
DO NOT mix with any other vaccine or immunobiological product.
PRECAUTIONS
Vaccinate only healthy animals.
Use during pregnancy or lactation has not been determined.
