PINDONE RABBIT PELLETS
FOR THE CONTROL OF RABBITS
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Contains 0.25g/kg Pindone in the form of bait.
WARNING
: May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
Designed for biocidal action.
PRECAUTIONS:
Wear overalls and waterproof gloves when applying bait. Wash hands and
exposed skin
before meals and after work. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using.
Store in original container away from foodstuffs.
Avoid contamination of any water supply with baits or empty
containers. Dispose of to an
approved hazardous waste facility.
FIRST AID:
If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting. For advice, contact the National
Poisons Centre

STOCK AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS:
Ensure livestock and domestic animals cannot access baits. Do not
return stock until 4 weeks
after laying baits. Where possible minimize non-target animals from
consuming poisoned
carcasses either by collecting carcasses and disposing them by burning
or burying below 500mm
(wherever feasible), or by limiting their access to the baiting site
until carcasses are unlikely to be
edible or contain residues.
TREATMENT OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS:
Vitamin K1 is an effective antidote against accidental poisoning of
domestic animals by Pindone.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply bait at the rates of 2 – 3 kg per hectare . Pellets can be
applied by applying in small heaps of
10 to 15 pellets on earth spits cut with a shovel, spade or grubber;
lightly broadcast on rabbit sign,
or broadcast by hand or aircraft.
Locate all fresh rabbit sign and apply the pellets twice at 3 to 4 day
intervals in all areas where
rabbits graze or feed. It is important to have sufficient bait for two
days feeding by all rabbits in the
area. Leave for 2 days then repeat the application. Check for further
sign after 9 to 14 days and if
rabbit sign is still seen, repeat. BY LAW 1. THE PRODUCT MUST BE SOLD ONLY TO OR USED BY A PERSON
