USE BEFORE:
BATCH NUMBER:
PERMAGUARD is an insecticide to control
fleas
(Ctenocephalides spp)
and lice
(Trichodectes
canis, Heterodoxus spininger, Linognathus setosus
and Felicola subrostratus)
on cats and dogs and
to aid in the control of adult brown dog tick
(Rhipicephalus sanguineus)
on dogs. Its
microscopic particles damage the insect’s
skin so that it cannot maintain its body fluid.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Precaution. Avoid applying product to eyes
and apply around the eyes and ears with care.
Use approximately 2-3 grams for cats and
small dogs and approximately 3-5 grams for
larger dogs. Lightly work PERMAGUARD, into
the hair of the animal down to the skin using
a brush or comb. Pay strict attention to areas
that the animal cannot scratch, such as the
scalp. Dust the animals bedding and areas
where the animal sleeps, as well as cracks
and crevices near them. Repeat applications
as necessary. During the tick season, daily
searching and removal is recommended.
For animals confined to specific areas
infested with fleas and lice, dust the entire
area with PERMAGUARD. Apply evenly
around the area, using the puffer action of
this pack. Mixing PERMAGUARD with an
equal quantity of sand will allow the mixture
to be more evenly spread across the area.
24 hours after application, lightly vacuum treated areas
to remove excess PERMAGUARD
NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE
OR IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO THIS
LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER
APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION.
Cover all food processing surfaces
before using, and do not allow to
contact food. Cover aquariums and
eliminate draughts before using.
