Additionally, benzoyl peroxide has demonstrated keratolytic effects. INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE PANOXYL™ (benzoyl peroxide USP) is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. CONTRAINDICATIONS PANOXYL™ is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzoyl peroxide or to any of the ingredients in the formulation.
