DO NOT apply within 14 days of applying insecticides to avoid serious
damage to rice crop.
DO NOT apply other pesticides or liquid fertilizers either before or
after Propanil application unless such
treatments are recommended by local authorities and have been tested
thoroughly under local conditions.
DO NOT spray if rain is imminent within 3-6 hours.

CRITICAL COMMENTS
Apply Propanil when barnyard grass is mainly at
2 to 3 leaf stage. Apply when grasses are actively
growing and there is uniform germination of rice
and weeds. Under certain circumstances, transient
yellowing or leaf burn of rice may occur but complete
recovery can be expected in 7 to 10 days.
Do NOT use on rice in a weakened condition from
soil salts, overwatering or any other cause.
Do NOT apply after the rice is 15 to 20 cm high or
beyond the 4 leaf stage.
Use this rate barnyard grass is at 4 to 5 leaf stage,
under ideal conditions. Spraying at this later growth
stage under adverse conditions may give inferior
control.
