BRAND NAME: NOURIAST TABLETS 20MG ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Istradefylline DOSAGE FORM: yellowish brown tablet, diameter 7.1 mm, thickness 3.3 mm IMPRINT OR PRINT ON WRAPPING: KH131 ノウリアスト 20mg EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE This medicine weakens the action of adenosine, a neurotransmitter in the brain, and consequently improves "wearing-off" phenomenon (a state of the onset of parkinsonian symptoms) caused by the decreased effects of other concomitant antiparkinsonian medicines resulting from their long-term use. It is usually used to improve wearing-off phenomenon in patients with Parkinson’s disease on the treatment with levodopa-containing products. THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR AND PHARMACIST. ・If you have previously experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicines or foods. If you are a patient with liver disorder. ・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant, or breastfeeding. ・If you are taking any other medicinal products.
