Active ingredient: IVERMECTIN 1.87% w/w. THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITY: for treatment against parasites (adults and larva) in horses, may also be used in donkeys. THERAPEUTIC GROUP: broad spectrum anti parasites. Veterinary prescription only. For veterinary use only. IMPORTANT: Please read the insert before use. WARNINGS AND CONTRA INDICATIONS: • This product is for use in horses. Dogs cats and turtles/tortoises may be adversely affected if they are allowed to ingest paste or if have access to used packages. • The development of resistance to the drug may occur due to frequent and repeated use or due to under dose that resulted from a wrong estimation of the horse's weight or from drug loss during administration. • Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. • Avoid skin or eye contact. • If the product contacted the skin, wash the area immediately with soap and water. • If the product accidently contacted the eye, wash immediately with water and seek for medical help if necessary. • Wash hand after use. • Keep out of reach of children. • Extremely dangerous to fish and aquatic life. Do not contaminate surface water or ditches with product or used containers. DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION: To be given orally at a single dose rate of 200 µg/kg of bodyweight. Each syringe of 7.49 g delivers 140 mg Ivermectin, sufficient to treat 700kg bodyweight (based on the recommended dose). The tip of the syringe barrel should be inserted at the interdental space (the gap between front and back teeth). The horses head should be raised for a few seconds after dosing.The animal's mouth should be free of food to ensure swallowing. For best results all horses in a yard or gazing together should be included in a regular parasite control program and treated at the same time. Retreatment should be carried out according to the epidemiological situation, but not less than at a 30 day interval.
