1. COMPOSITION
The active ingredient is Nicotine, for further ingredients please
refer to section 8, (further information).
2.PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Nicorette Invisi Patch is a self-adhesive patch, which slowly releases
nicotine that is absorbed through the skin. The Nicorette invisi patch
is a semi-transparent
patch. The patch is marked ”Nicorette” in light-brown lettering
NICORETTE INVISI PATCHES are available in three strengths giving a
total of 10, 15 and 25 mg nicotine in 16 hours of use.
NICORETTE INVISI PATCH of 10 _mg/16_ hours contains 15.8 mg nicotine.
NICORETTE INVISI PATCH of 15 _mg/16_ hours contains 23.6 mg nicotine.
NICORETTE INVISI patch of 25 _mg/16_ hours contains 39.4 mg nicotine.
3. INDICATIONS
When you suddenly stop supplying the body with nicotine from tobacco
you suffer various forms of discomfort, known as _withdrawal
symptoms_. With the aid of
Nicorette invisi patch you can prevent, or at least reduce, these
discomforts by _continuing_ to supply the body with a small quantity
of nicotine for a transitional period.
When you use a Nicorette invisi patch, nicotine is slowly released and
absorbed through the skin and circulates through the body’s blood
vessels. Unlike cigarettes,
Nicorette contains no harmful tar or carbon monoxide.
