INDICATIONS
NexGard Chewables kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment
and prevention of
flea (_Ctenocephalides_ spp.) infestations and for the control of NZ
cattle tick
(_Haemaphysalis_ _longicornis_). Effective flea control with NexGard
also prevents flea
tapeworm (_Dipylidium caninum_) infestation.
NexGard chewables also treats and controls demodectic mange caused by
_Demodex_
spp., sarcoptic mange caused by _Sarcoptes scabiei_ and ear mite
(_Otodectes cynotis_)
infestations.
BY LAW THE USER MUST TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN
NECESSARY, TO
AVOID UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN
AS
DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
FOR USE IN PUPPIES FROM 8 WEEKS OF AGE WEIGHING 2 KG OR MORE
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Offer the chewable(s) appropriate for your dog’s weight at monthly
intervals.
The recommended dosage is 2.5 mg of afoxolaner per kg bodyweight.
