EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine stimulates serotonin receptor in the digestive tract and
increases acetylcholine
release in order to improve functions of enterokinesis and gastric
emptying.
It is usually used to treat digestive symptoms (heartburn, nausea and
vomiting) associated
with chronic gastritis and adjunctive treatment to the pretreatment
with orally gastrointestinal
lavage solution for barium enema X-ray examination.
