In dogs: treatment of mixed infections by adult cestodes (tapeworms) and nematodes (roundworms) of the following species:Cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.Nematodes Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonine, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda, Crenosoma vulpis (Reduction of the level of infection), Angiostrongylus vasorum (Reduction of the level of infection by immature adult (L5) and adult parasite stages).The product can also be used in the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis), if concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated.

WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED FOR?
The medicine is intended for dogs, for the treatment of mixed
infection by
tapeworms (cestodes) and roundworms (nematodes) of the following
species:

Cestodes: _Dipylidium caninum,_ _teania_ species, _echinococcus_
species and
_mesocestoides_ species
−
Nematodes: _Ancylostoma caninum, Toxocara canis, Toxascarins leonina,
_
_Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda, _-Crenosoma vulpis-reduction
of the level
of infection _and Angiostongylus vasorum_ - reduction of the level of
infection
by immature adult (L5) and adult parasite stages.

THERAPEUTIC GROUP:

Milbemycin Oxime belongs to the family of macrocyclic lactones. These
substances affect the chloride balance of the worms and parasites
cells and
lead to their death.

Praziquantel is a derivative of isoquinoline (acylated
pyrazino-isoquinoline
derivative). The substance affects the calcium balance of the worms
and
parasites cells and leads to their death.
