EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine lowers the blood pressure and improves disturbed pulse,
by beta-blocking
activity. It improves hypertension (mild to moderate symptoms) and
angina pectoris.
It is usually used to treat angina pectoris, cardiac neurosis,
arrhythmias (sinus tachycardia,
tachyarrhythmia, supraventricular extrasystole, and ventricular
extrasystole) and essential
hypertension (mild to moderate symptoms).
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have possibility of bronchial asthma/bronchospasm, diabetic
ketoacidosis, metabolic
acidosis, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, sick sinus syndrome,
sinoatrial block,
cardiogenic shock, right ventricular cardiac failure secondary to
pulmonary hypertension,
congestive heart failure or possibility of congestive heart failure,
hypotension,
pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma, idiopathic hypoglycemia,
unsatisfactorily controlled
diabetes mellitus, fasting state, peripheral circulatory disorders,
thyrotoxicosis, variant
angina pectoris, renal impairment or hepatic impairment.
