INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of subacute and chronic endometritis (inflammation
of the uterus lining) in cows,
caused by _Arcanobacterium (Actinomyces) pyogenes, Fusobacterium
necrophorum_ and _Bacteroides _
strains.
Accurate diagnosis of subacute and chronic endometritis requires
confirmation of a discharge from
the cervix by means of a vaginoscopic examination.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE TO ENSURE AN EVEN SUSPENSION.
Thoroughly clean the vulva area. Using aseptic conditions as much as
possible, avoid contaminating
the catheter while preparing it for the infusion. Fit the catheter
firmly onto the tip of the Metri-
Clean
TM
applicator. Place the glove on one hand and introduce that hand into
the animal’s rectum to
locate the cervix. Gently grasp the cervix and introduce the catheter
into the lumen of the uterus by
gently oscillating the cervix. Squeeze the applicator trigger to
infuse the dose into the uterus. Some
product will be retained in the catheter. Usually, one treatment is
sufficient for a complete cure.
Metri-Clean
TM
can be used at one day after insemination. Do not administer to
animals known to be
allergic to cephalosporins. Do not administer with other antibiotic
preparations.
STORAGE:
Store locked up between 15°C and 25°C.
Discard the unused contents of the pack within 10 hours after opening.
