EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine improves the symptoms caused by heavy-metal accumulation
through its effect
of binding with heavy-metal such as lead, mercury or copper and
draining them out of the
body.
It is usually used to treat Wilson's disease (hepatolenticular
degeneration, caused by
accumulation of copper in the body) or lead /mercury/ copper
intoxication.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have: blood disorder or history of such, renal function
disorder or history of such, or
hepatic function disorder or systemic lupus erythematosus.
If you are growing child with metabolism disorder of connective
tissue.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
