Merit Connecta Polyethylene (PE) Pressure Lines are intended for use as part of a blood pressure monitoring system as a fluid path to allow transmission of the blood pressure waveform from the site of connection to a point distant to the patient. The PE pressure line is to be attached to the pressure monitoring system, consisting of a cannula, stopcocks and a transducer. This product is designed to withstand pressures related to infusion therapy and invasive haemodynamic monitoring only.
