MAXCEL
ACTIVE CONSTITUENT: 19 G/L 6-BENZYLADENINE
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
MaxCel is a secondary thinner designed for use on
trees treated with a primary thinner (such as NAA) at
or about flowering. Best results from MaxCel will be
obtained when foliage is evenly and thoroughly
covered with the spray.
Timing and temperature at time of application is
critical. MaxCel does not increase the incidence of
russet when applied alone at label rates. An increase
in vegetative growth may be observed following
application of MaxCel.
MIXING
MaxCel mixes easily with water. Add the required
amount to a clean spray tank about half filled with
water. Agitate while bringing the total volume of the
water to the required level. Use the spray solution
within 24 hours after mixing. Addition of a non-ionic
wetting agent may improve coverage.
APPLICATION
Apply in sufficient water to achieve thorough and even
coverage of leaves. Coverage of lower leaf surfaces is
important.
Apply when king fruitlets are between 7-10 mm in
diameter. This normally occurs 10 to 25 days after full
bloom.
Spray on a day when the daytime temperature is
increasing to a predicted daily maximum of greater
than 15ºC.
COMPATIBILITY
It is recommended that MaxCel not be mixed with
other pesticides, growth regulators or fertilisers.
PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER
NON-TARGET PLANTS
DO NOT apply under weather conditions, or from
spraying equipment, that may cause spray to drift
onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or pastures.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEA
AND ENVIRONMENT
DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways
with chemical or used container.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Store in the
closed, original container in a well ventilated area, as
cool as possible. DO NOT store for prolonged periods
in direct sunlight. Triple or preferably pressure rinse
containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray
tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
