1.What Lyso-B Oral Liquid is used for

Lyso-B Oral Liquid used as soothing

preparation for relief of sore throat. It is

a sugar free liquid.

2.How Lyso-B Oral Liquid works

Lysozyme extracted from egg-white is

used for the intensification of natural

defense mechanisms, restoration of

damaged tissue and anti-inflammation.

Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vit B6) helps

to improve immune response to the

increase in production of antibodies and

also helps in communicative interactions

between cytokines and chemokines.

3.Before you use Lyso-B Oral Liquid

-When you must not use it

If you have had an allergic reaction to

the active ingredients or excipients in

the product.

If you have a history of

hypersensitivity to egg or vitamin B6.

-Before you start to use it

Tell your doctor

If you have allergies to any other

medicines, food preservatives, food,

allergic predisposition manifested as

atopic dermatitis or bronchial asthma.

It is best not to use this medicine

during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

-Taking another medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are

taking any other medicines, including

those that you buy without a prescription

from a pharmacy, supermarket or health

food shop.

4.How to use Lyso-B Liquid

-How much to use it

Recommended daily dosage:

Children 6–12 years old: 5 ml

Adults: 10 ml.

Sip the dose slowly. Repeat dose as

required up to 4 times daily.

If the symptoms worsen or do not

improve within 7 days, consult your

doctor.

-When to use

Try to take your medicines at the same

time every day.

Always take this medicine exactly as

your doctor or pharmacist has told

you.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist

if you are not sure.

How long to use

The duration of treatment with

is determined by your doctor.

-If you forget to use

Take the missed dose as soon as you

remember. If it is almost time for you

next dose, wait until then to take the

medicine and skip the missed dose. Do

not take a double dose to make up for the

missed dose.

-If you use too much (overdose)

Contact your doctor immediately or go

to the Emergency Department of your

nearest hospital if you or anyone else

may have taken too much of this

medicine. Do this even if there are no

signs of discomfort or poisoning. You

may need urgent medical attention.

5.While you are using Lyso-B Oral

Liquid

-Thing you must do

Keep this leaflet. You may need to read

it again. If you have any further

questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist

-Things you must not do

This medicine has been prescribed for

you. Do not pass it on to others. It may

harm them, even if their symptoms are

the same as yours.

-Things to be careful of

Do not take more than the recommended

dose. If your symptoms continue, please

see your doctor.

6.Side effects

May cause diarrhoea, anorexia, stomach

discomfort, nausea and vomiting. May

cause hypersensitivity reactions such as

skin rashes. In rare case, shock may

occur with administration of this drug.

Therefore, patients should be carefully

monitored during Lyso-B Oral Liquid

therapy.

If any of this happens to you, stop

administration and seek for medical help.

7.Storage and disposal

-Storage

Store below 30ºC. Do not use beyond the

expiry date printed on the packaging

components.

-Disposal

Medicine should not be disposed of via

wastewater or household waste. Ask

your pharmacist how to dispose of

medicines no longer required. These

measures will help to protect the

environment.
