LIPOGRASIL 

LIPOGRASIL is a complementary treatment of weight-losing diets.  

COMPOSITION  
Each coated tablet contains: 
Active ingredients: 
Cynara  scolimus  L.  (Artichoke)  leaf  aqueous  dried  extract,  25  mg,  containing  between  75  and  150 
micrograms  of  cynarine;  Rhamnus  purshianus  D.C.  (Cascara),  dried  fragmented  bark,  100  mg, 
containing not less than 8 mg of hydroxyanthracene heterosides; Fucus vesiculosus L. (Fucus) aqueous 
dried extract, 175 mg, containing between 87.5 and 262.5 micrograms of iodine. 
Excipients: 
Magnesium  stearate,  colloidal  silicon dioxide, erythrosine (E-127), cellulose microcrystalline, stearic 
acid, hydroxipropylmethylcellulose (E-464).

LIPOGRASIL coated tablets, pack of 50 coated tablets. 

ACTIVITY 
Laxative and stimulant of the bile and thyroid secretions. 

INDICATIONS 
LIPOGRASIL is indicated as a temporary complementary treatment for weight losing diets in cases of 
moderate over-weight, due to its laxative action. 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Allergy to any of its components

High blood pressure

Hyperthyroidism 
- 
Nervousness 
- 
Ileostomy 
- 
Abdominal pain of unknown origin 
- 
Intestinal obstruction or obstruction of the bile ducts 
- 
Appendicitis or its symptoms (cramp, pain, nausea, vomit) 
- 
Rectal haemorrhage without diagnose 
- 
Immflamatory abdominal diseases (Crohn disease, ulcerous colitis) 
- 
Severe coronary, hepatic or renal insufficiencies 
- 
Children under 12 years old 
- 
Pregnancy

Do not use for more than six days consecutively without checking with your physician.

_Rhamnus  purshianus  D.C._  (Cascara  sagrada),  dried  fragmented  bark  containing  not  less  than  8  mg

_Fucus  vesiculosus  L._  (Fucus),  aqueous  dried  extract,  containing  between  87.5  y  262.5

g  (0.05  and 
0.15%) of iodine, 175 mg.

3. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM 

Film-coated tablet. 
Round film-coated tablets with a pink colour.  

4. CLINICAL PARTICULARS 

4.1 THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS 
LIPOGRASIL  is  indicated  as  a  temporary  complementary  treatment  for  weight  loss  diets  cases  of 
moderate overweight (IMC between 25-30), due to its laxative action. 

4.2 POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION 
ADULTS:  From  2  to  6  coated  tablets  per  day  with  meals.  The  dose  should  be  adapted  in  each  case 
according  to  the  weight  loss  achieved.  The  dose  may  also  be  lowered  if  the  laxative  effect  were 
excessive or uncomfortable. It is recommended to drink plenty of water. 
The initial dosage will be of 2 coated-tablets per day, distributed with the main meals, and it can by 
progressively increased depending on the objective up to maximum of 6 coated-tables per day. 

4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS 
Allergy to any of its components. 
High  blood  pressure,  hyperthyroidism,  nervousness,  ileostmy,  abdominal  pain  of  unknown  origin,
