It is a laser lancing device, intended for the collection of capillary blood. It perforates the skin through the use of a safe laser source and creates a small channel for the blood to be extracted. It has different adjustable laser levels to accompany the thickness of the skin. After the blood is extracted, it can be used with IVD devices such as a glucose meter that use capillary blood samples.
