PRESENTATION
IVERQUANTEL LIQUID is a stable aqueous micelle solution containing
ivermectin and praziquantel. Each 250 mL
provides 120 mg ivermectin and 1500 mg praziquantel, which is
sufficient to treat a horse of 600 kg bodyweight.
Provided in 5 L and 20 L containers at a concentration ready for use.
INDICATIONS
IVERQUANTEL LIQUID kills the adult and larval stages of the important
internal parasites of horses. These include
tapeworms; small redworms that may be resistant to benzimidazole-based
wormers; the large redworm
including its arterial stages; lungworms; and bots.
IVERQUANTEL LIQUID given at the recommended dose rate is indicated for
the treatment and control of the
following internal parasites of horses:
LARGE STRONGYLES (REDWORMS): adults and arterial larval stages of
_Strongylus vulgaris_, adults and tissue
larval stages of _S. edentatus_, adults of _S. equinus _and
_Triodontophorus _spp.

DOSAGE
IVERQUANTEL LIQUID is to be given at a dose rate to provide 0.2 mg
ivermectin, and 2.5 mg praziquantel, per
kilogram bodyweight. This is achieved by giving 42 mL of liquid per
100 kg bodyweight; or 250 mL
