EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine promotes release of acetylcholine by dopamine D
2
-receptor blocking action and
inhibits degradation of acetylcholine in the upper gastrointestinal
tract. It enhances
gastrointestinal motility and improves symptoms of nausea, vomit,
abdominal pain, loss of
appetite, abdominal enlarged feeling and heartburn.
It is usually used to treat gastrointestinal symptoms (bloating, upper
abdominal pain, loss of
appetite, heartburn, nausea and vomiting) in chronic gastritis.
