SUPERIOR

CRUISER SUPERIOR
is a medium strength ablative antifouling that has been formulated 
specifically for aluminium surfaces. Minimal paint build up reduces
end of season main-
tenance. Suitable for cruising type vessels. 
ENSURE CORRECT PRIMERS ARE USED BEFORE APPLYING TO ALUMINIUM SURFACES.
MAY BE APPLIED OVER: Yacht Primer, Primocon, Interprotect, and most
types of antifoul-
ings provided they are in sound condition.
CAN BE OVERCOATED WITH: Itself and selected other antifoulings.
NEW SURFACES:
Timber: Surfaces must be clean, dry and well sanded. Prime with
either
Yacht Primer or Primocon (single pack options) or Interprotect (two
pack option).
EPOXY SHEATHED TIMBER/EPOXY COMPOSITE/POLYESTER GRP:
Ensure all traces of release agent
and/or amine bloom are removed from the surfaces using Surface-Prep. 
Sand to
remove gloss.  Prime with Interprotect.
STEEL:
Grit blast to Australian Standard 1627.4 Class 2.5-3. Prime with
Interprotect (two
pack) or Primocon (single pack).
ALUMINIUM:
Either grit blast to achieve a profile of 50-75 microns, or power
grind with
80 grit discs to obtain bright shiny metal. Prime with Interprotect
(two pack) or
Primocon (single pack). Alternatively degrease wirh surface cleaner,
lightly abrade sur-
face and then apply one coat of Etch Primer, followed by Interprotect
or Primocon.  
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Refer to primer labels for details of primer application.  Refer to
filler
labels and/or literature for any filling and fairing information
required.
PROPS AND SHAFTS:
Longlife or Interspeed 2000 are recommended, refer label data.
PREPARATION:  PREVIOUSLY ANTIFOULED SURFACES.
Check existing antifouling may be overcoated with this product. 
Desalinate by fresh
water wash down.  Follow by wet sanding with typically 150-180 grit
if the surface is in
sound condition or typically 80 grit if it is in poor condition. 
When the surface is free of
old slime/fouling build up, any loose and flaking coatings and any
other contamination,
allow to dry thoroughly.  P
