INDICATIONS
For the prevention of mastitis in non-lactating (dry period) dairy
cows and heifers, with low
individual somatic cell count (First lactation < 120,000 cells/mL;
subsequent lactation < 150,000
cells/mL) at drying off. Also for pre-calving administration in maiden
heifers for the prevention of
mastitis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Not for use in lactating cows – administer after final milking.
Not recommended for use without appropriate antibiotic Dry Cow Therapy
in animals with a high
somatic cell count (
First lactation
> 120,000 cells/mL;
subsequent lactation
> 150,000 cells/mL) at
drying off, as this may be indicative of existing intramammary
infection.
DOSAGE
COWS/HEIFERS: Infuse the contents of 1 syringe per quarter after the
final milking of lactation.
