PRESCRIPTION ONLY MEDICINE 1.
COMPOSITION
One film-coated tablet contains:
Active substance: 300 mg dry extract from St. John’s Wort (3 –
7:1).
Other constituents:
Ascorbic acid; microcrystalline cellulose; croscarmellose sodium; iron
oxide yellow (E 172); hypromellose;
lactose monohydrate; macrogol 4000; magnesium stearate (Ph Eur.);
methyl cellulose; saccharin sodium;
precipitated silica; simeticone; sorbic acid (Ph. Eur.);
pregelatinised maize starch; talc; titanium dioxide (E
171); vanillin.
Note for diabetics: 1 film-coated tablet corresponds to 0.048 g
carbohydrates. 2.

Hyperikan
®
is a plant-based pharmaceutical for depressive conditions in case of
moderate transient depres-
sive conditions. 3.

Concomitantly with
–
Ciclosporin
–
Tacrolimus,
–
Indinavir and other protease inhibitors used in the anti-HIV
(“AIDS”) treatment,
–
Irinotecan, imatinib and other cell-growth-inhibiting drugs used in
cancer treatment,
–
Warfarin,
–
Other antidepressants.
Not to be taken in case of hypersensitivity to the pharmaceutically
active component or one of the other
components, in case of known photo hypersensitivity of the skin and
severe transient depressive episodes.
