INDICATIONS:
Vitamin and mineral supplements for pregnant women.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
· Avoid in patients with hypervitaminosis A or D, renal
insufficiency, and
hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
· Not
recommended
for
patients
with
hyperthyroidism,
hypercalcemia,
hypercalcuria, calcium based kidney stones, or megaloblastic anaemia.
· Should not be taken by patients suffering from iron overload or
disturbances
in utilization of iron.
PRECAUTIONS:
· Daily recommended dosage should not be exceeded. Certain vitamins,
minerals
and
trace
elements
can
cause
side
effects
in
high
doses,
particularly during prolonged administration.
· Overdose
of
vitamin
D3
in
pregnancy
must
be
prevented.
Sustained
hypercalcaemia may lead to physical or mental retardation, congenital
heart
and eye diseases in the child.
· Consult a doctor / pharmacist if you are on anticoagulant/blood
thinner
products.
MAIN SIDE/ADVERSE EFFECTS:
Diarrhoea, itching, headache, flushing or redness of skin, nausea or
vomiting,
gastrointestinal
discomfort
and
yellow
discoloration
of
urine
may
occur
occasionally. Consult your doctor if you experience any adverse
effects.
DESCRIPTION
:
Oblong, pink film-coated tablet, deep convex faces with ‘HD’
embossed and
scored on the same face.
COMPOSITION
:
Each tablet contains:
Vitamin A
1332.00 IU
Thiamine Mononitrate
1.50 mg
(providing 1.40 mg of Vitamin B1)
Riboflavin
1.60 mg
Nicotinamide
18.00 mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride
2.00 mg
(providing 1.65 mg of Vitamin B6)
Cyanocobalamin
2.00 mcg
Vitamin C
65.00 mg
Vitamin D3

DRUG INTERACTIONS:
· Effects of levodopa may be reduced by vitamin B6.
· Co-administration of probenecid may decrease gastrointestinal
absorption
of vitamin B2.
· Aspirin may increase urinary secretion of ascorbic acid; however,
clinical
significance is unclear.
· Vitamin E may facilitate absorption, hepatic storage and
utilization, and
reduce toxicity of vitamin A; excessive doses may deplete vitamin A
