4.1 TARGET SPECIES
Pigs (weaned pigs)
4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES:
Treatment and prevention of infections caused by _Streptococcus suis _susceptible to
amoxicillin in weaned pigs.
The presence of disease in the herd should be established before treatment.
4.3 CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not administer to animals with a previous history of hypersensitivity to penicillins or
other antimicrobials of the β-lactam group.
Do not use in the presence of β-lactamase producing bacteria.
Do not use in animals with renal impairment.
4.4 SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR TARGET SPECIES:
None.
