WHAT HEMARON TABLET USED FOR
It is for treating venous circulation
disorders
(heavy
legs,
pain,
early
morning
restless
legs)
and
for
treating
symptoms
due
to
acute
haemorrhoidal attack.
HOW HEMARON TABLET WORKS
The flavonoid fraction in Hemaron
tablet
acts
on
the
veins
and
microcirculation.
It
reduces
the
marked
venous
distensibility
and
also
reduces
pathologically
increased capillary permeability for
blood
and
increase
capillary
resistance.

allergic

purified flavonoid fraction or any

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A brown oblong shaped film coated tablet.
PHARMACODYNAMICS
Venotonic and vascular protector.
Pharmacology
It is active upon the return vascular system in the following way:

It reduces venous distensibility and stasis,

In the microcirculation, it normalises capillary permeability and
increases capillary resistance.
PHARMACOKINETICS
In humans, following oral administration of Diosmin:

Excretion is essentially faecal and urinary excretion is on average
14% of the administered quantity,

The elimination half-life is of 11 hours.

The product is highly metabolised, this metabolism is revealed by the
presence of different phenol acids in
the urine.
INDICATION

Treatment of symptoms related to venolymphatic insufficiency (heavy
legs, pain, early morning restless legs).

Treatment of functional symptoms related to acute hemorrhoidal attack.
DOSE/ USE INSTRUCTION
- Usual dosage: 2 tablets daily in two divided doses, midday and
evening at meal times.
- Acute hemorrhoidal attack: 6 tablets per day for the first 4 days,
then 4 tablets per day for 3 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of Hemaron Tablet.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Acute hemorrhoidal attack: Administration of this medicine is no
substitute for the specific treatment of other
anal disorders. The treatment must be short-term. If the symptoms do
not disappear rapidly, proctological
examination should be performed and the treatment reviewed.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEDICATIONS
Not Applicable
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
No adverse effects have been reported to date in humans.
In the absence of data concerning the diffusion into breast milk,
breastfeeding is not recommended during
treatment.
