A selective herbicide for the control of broadleaf and grass weeds in
forestry, lucerne, maize,
sweetcorn, peas, certain orchard crops and non-crop situations.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Contains 900 g/kg terbuthylazine in the form of a
water dispersible granule (WG)

OXICITY
WARNING: Harmful if swallowed or inhaled.
ECOTOXICITY
Very toxic to aquatic life and with long lasting effects. Hazardous to
soil organisms. Hazardous to
terrestrial vertebrates.
BEWARE: Spray drift hazard. Apply this product carefully. Spray drift
may cause serious damage to
other desirable plants. Do not allow drift to occur outside the target
area. Do not apply directly into
or onto water.
QUALIFICATIONS: A person mixing, loading, or applying this substance
must be a suitably
qualified person or under the guidance of a suitably qualified person.
RECORD-KEEPING: Records of use as described in NZS 8409 Management of
Agrichemicals
must be kept if 3 kg or more of GROGARD is applied within a 24 hour
period and is likely to enter
air or water and leave the application area.
PERSONAL PROTECTION: When mixing or applying wear overalls, impervious
gloves and eye/
face protection. Avoid contact with or inhalation of spray mist. Wash
hands and exposed skin
before rest breaks, meals and after work. Clean protective clothing
and equipment before re-use.
STORAGE: Store in original container tightly closed and in a secure,
dry, cool, well-ventilated
area, away from foodstuffs. Storage must be in accordance with the
current version of the New
Zealand Standard for the Management of Agrichemicals (NZS8409). Stores
containing more than
100 kg require signage, secondary containment and an emergency
response plan.
