Treatment of haemorrhoids.

Ginkor
Fort

works
by
improving
blood
circulation.
It
contains
heptaminol
hydrochloride,
which
promotes the blood flow back to the

COMPOSITION PER CAPSULE
Standardized Ginkgo biloba Extract containing 24 % of Ginkgo
Glycosides and 6 % of Ginkgolides - bilobalide . . . . . . . . . . . .

Source of gelatin: bovine origin.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Venotonic and vasculoprotector. Ginkor Fort increases venous tonicity,
vessel resistance and
decreases their permeability.
These effects are accompanied by a local inhibitory activity against
several pain-inducing
mediators (histamine, bradykinin, serotonin), lysosomal enzymes and
free radicals, which are
capable of inducing inflammatory processes and degradation of collagen
fibres.
Ginkor Fort promotes venous return to the right side of the heart due
to heptaminol
hydrochloride in the formula.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
This drug is indicated in:
- Treatment of functional signs related to the acute haemorrhoidal
attack.
- Treatment of symptoms related to the venolymphatic insufficiency
(heavy legs, oedema,
pain, restless legs).
In all cases, you must strictly follow your doctor’s prescription or
your pharmacist’s advice.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Haemorrhoidal attack:
Loading treatment: 3 to 4 capsules per day for 7 days, at mealtimes.
Venolymphatic insufficiency:
2 capsules per day (one in the morning and one in the evening).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or one of the excipients
- Due to presence of heptaminol: hyperthyroidism, associated use with
MAOIs due to the risk
of hypertension
SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- Arterial pressure must be monitored closely at the start of
treatment in subjects suffering from
severe arterial hypertension, due to the presence of heptaminol
